she guessed my favorite color first try..
but between me and u……. i didnt even have a favorite color until she yelled out yellow!! she was hella excited n smiling like a little kid. so i told her she was right and i havent seen yellow the same since, its in everything. i could probably live in it now.
the only thing white people experience that people of color don’t is unconditional WHITE PRIVILEGE
literally any axis of oppression you can name that white people are affected by ALSO AFFECTS PEOPLE OF COLOR
when we critique whiteness and racism and you come back with BUT ABLEISM or BUT HOMOPHOBIA like– what’re you trying to say? those are things only white people can experience? by critiquing whiteness, we’re also somehow perpetuating homophobia and ableism because being gay or disabled are somehow tied into being white?
or maybe… white people only consider other whites people so oppression only matters when white people experience it??

Gentrification isn’t merely just white people moving in displacing RoC (residents of color) it’s mayors, city councils providing tax breaks to businesses and corporations who establish their base in impoverished cities to line their pockets. It’s landlords who, in turn, raising the rent and evicting residents to attract residents with bigger pocketbooks. It’s legislation meant to stifle poor, local businesses and serves disguised as regulation. It’s capitalism dispossessing the poor, working-class, immigrants of their land, community, and culture in order to increase profits.
Also active policing of those areas in the process of being gentrified, especially policing of the homeless and sex workers, that push people out physically, socially, and psychologically

My feminism has nothing to do with men. It is not defined as “equality for all genders”. It isn’t even about equality. I don’t want to be equal with men because I don’t like or want this patriarchy men have. My feminism is about liberation for all women, and an end of the oppression of all women, including women of color, immigrants, lesbians, and trans women. It is about equity- doing what is necessary to ensure everyone has a quality standard of life, has their human rights respected, and is free from oppression. I am not into definitions of feminism that are aimed at making feminism appear non-threatening to men. It IS threatening to them, and it should be.
